March 23rd: Lion Rock

The Fridayhikers are a group of friends who go hiking for leisure. Depending on the weather and road conditions, the hiking route may be subject to change without prior notice. Participants joining the hikes do so at their own will and at their own risk. They may consider buying their own insurance for better protection. The hike leaders, the organizers and any other participants in the hikes are exonerated from any liabilities and claims as a result of any accidents or losses arising.

Dear Fridayhikers,

We will take the trail up Lion Rock this Friday.  If time permits, we can go to Amah Rock as well.  SS suggests that we start from 天馬苑 and go uphill, take a rest at  回歸亭, and walk towards the Lion Rock with beautiful views of Kowloon and HK island.  We will then walk down to Wong Tai Sin where we can have lunch.   After lunch, SS has arranged with Canice to take those interested to 樂耕園 to visit his charity enterprise.   The walk will be about 3.5 hours.

MEETING TIME:  9:15 am

MEETING PLACE:  Kowloon Tong MTR.   Take Exit C to Festival Walk and go up to Level G.  Go to the minibus terminal and find minibus #73 which goes to Tsz Wan Shan.  


Please  bring enough water, sun protection, rain gear etc.

SS will lead the way this Friday !
