Friday 20 Septemeber 2019 - Wong Shek Pier to Tsak Yue Wu

Wong Shek Pier 黃石碼頭 to Tsak Yue Wu 鰂魚湖 
This route is a leisurely and rather shady 3-hour walk with a gentle gradient:
黃石碼頭-- --土瓜坪 -- -- 北潭坳 -- -- 北潭郊遊徑----鰂魚湖

Meeting Time:   8:50 am (Bus departs at 9:00 am)

Meeting Place:    Sai Kung KMB #94 Bus Terminal (destination Wong Shek Pier)

Weather forecast:   fine and dry,  T27-33  H55-85

Please bring plenty of water, sun gear, rain gear, walking stick, mosquito repellent, snacks etc.

Please check the weather before you leave home tomorrow.  If the typhoon, rainstorm or thunderstorm warning is up by 7:30am, the hike is automatically cancelled.

Friday 6 September 2019, Hang Hau to HKUST via Duckling Hill

Hang Hau to HKUST on hiking trail

A trail mainly stone paved, we will start from Hang Hau MTR Station (Tseung Kwan O), walk to the trail entrance opposite Hang Hau Village, go up lots of steps to the top of 鴨仔山, then come down steps to Clear Water Bay Road, walk through the HKUST campus to the main gate. ~3 km long, elevation to ~200m. Have nice views of: 舊邵氏片場、清水灣片場、牛尾海、將軍澳等等; will take about 2.5 hours.

Meeting Time: 9:00 a.m.

Meeting Place: Hang Hau Station Exit A

Weather forecast: sunny periods and a few showers, very hot during the day, T 26-30 ° C, H 75-95%

Please bring plenty of water, sun gear, rain gear, walking stick, mosquito repellent, snacks etc.

Please check the weather before you leave home tomorrow. If the rainstorm warning or thunderstorm warning is up by 7:45am, the hike is automatically cancelled.

Friday 30 August 2019, Tsing Yi Natural Trail

Tsing Yi Natural Trail

Tsing Yi Natural is a pleasant and shady hiking route about 4 km, less than 3 hours walk.

Meeting Time:   9:00 a.m.

Meeting Place:   Tsing Yi MTR, Exit A

Weather forecast:   cloudy with showers and squally thunderstorms, T27-30  H80-95

Please bring plenty of water, sun gear, walking stick, mosquito repellent, snacks etc.

Friday 23 August 2019 : Mount Parker to Braemar Hill

Mount Parker to Braemar Hill

The route starts at the bottom of Mount Parker Road. The uphill route continues on to Quarry Gap, Mount Butler and Siu Ma Shan, then downhill to Braemar Hill. 

Up / Down ~400m  Total length ~6.4km  Estimated time 3+ hours.

Weather Forecast: mainly fine, very hot with haze during the day, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms later,  T28-33   H65-95

Friday 16 August 2019 : 城門引水道

The Fridayhikers are a group of friends who go hiking for leisure. Depending on the weather and road conditions, the hiking route may be subject to change without prior notice. 城門引水道

Will take minibus to the Pineapple Dam and start the walk along 城門引水道  (~4.5km) towards芙蓉山，經芙蓉健康徑(866 steps)落荃錦公路、再落荃灣站，Mostly paved road and steps.  Total length ~5.8km  Estimated time 3 hours.

Meeting time:  9:30 am

Meeting place: Tsuen Wan MTR Exit B (then take minibus to Pineapple Dam)

Weather Forecast: mainly cloudy with a few showers and thunderstorms, sunny periods during the day,  T27-32  H75-95

Friday 9 August 2019 : Shing Mun Reservoir

(Last week, because of unstable weather conditions, we had decided at the Pineapple Dam to take an alternative route - the Shing Mun Catchwater Walk to 川龍, instead of the planned around the reservoir route.)

Shing Mun Reservoir

Will take minibus to the Pineapple Dam and start the walk around the reservoir there. Depending on weather conditions, can either take the dirty track or the paved road if it gets rainy.  Estimated time 3+ hours.

Meeting time:  9:30 am

Meeting place: Tsuen Wan MTR Exit B (then take minibus to Pineapple Dam)

Friday 2 August 2019 : Shing Mun Reservoir

Will take minibus to the Pineapple Dam and start the walk around the reservoir there. Depending on weather conditions, can either take the dirty track or the paved road if it gets rainy.  Estimated time 3+ hours.

深圳洪湖公園遊及尋找美食

在上水站月台集合，乘東鐵到落馬洲過關到福田口岸，再乘深圳地鐵往福民站轉7號線(太安)到洪湖站。

出站步行到附近洪湖公園遊覧 (綱上資料: 深圳市市級公園、总面積59.15万平方米、陸地32.46万平、湖面26.69万平、以荷花為主題及水上活動為特色的綜合性公園)。

午飯可往寶安中心站附近尋找美食，飯後可遊覧商場；約3点回程。

集合時間:  上午 9 時正。

集合地點:  上水站 月台第五卡 (北上方向月台)。

注意: 帶HKID、回鄉証(不要過期)、長者咭、RMB。

迪欣湖

迪士尼站起步，步行往迪欣湖、環湖行，沿途平坦步行徑，長~3km。

(如天氣及時間許可，到時決定是否經小路步行到欣澳站，+~3km。)

Friday 12 July 2019 : 沙田圍經水泉澳到沙田坳

沙田圍經水泉澳到沙田坳

沙田圍站起步，經水泉澳邨附近上馬鞍山郊野公園，沿慈沙古道到沙田坳，再下行到慈雲山巴士站、或黃大仙站。

沿途包括石屎路、山徑、泥路、石級；大部份路段樹蔭；有上落坡段，高差~280m,長~5km, est ~3hrs
