The Fridayhikers are a group of friends who go hiking for leisure. Depending on the weather and road conditions, the hiking route may be subject to change without prior notice. 火炭  到 烏溪沙 

火炭站 起步出城門河，沿河邊長廊經城門河雙橋、大水坑、馬鞍山海濱長廊、烏溪沙村/落禾沙海邊，到烏溪沙站 (MTR馬鞍山線尾站)，沿途有城門河、吐露港、馬鞍山、八仙嶺景色。(全程平坦大路)

Meeting time:  9:30 am

Meeting place: 東鐵線火炭站   A出口

Weather Forecast: cloudy with a few showers, more showers with thunderstorms at first,  T24-28  H80-95

Bring rain gear, sun protection, and walking stick, plenty of water and some snacks.

Should the thunderstorm warning or any of the rainstorm warning be announced at 8 am, the hike is automatically cancelled.

Friday 24 May 2019 : Shing Mun Reservoir

Shing Mun Reservoir

Will take minibus to the Pineapple Dam and start the walk around the reservoir there. Depending on weather conditions, can either take the dirt track or the paved road if it gets rainy.  Estimated time 3+ hours.

Meeting time:  9:00 am

Meeting place:  Tsuen Wan MTR Exit B (then take minibus to Pineapple Dam)

Weather Forecast: mainly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms  T26-29  H75-95

Bring rain gear, sun protection, and walking stick, plenty of water and some snacks.

Should the thunderstorm warning or any of the rainstorm warning be announced at 8 am, the hike is automatically cancelled.

Friday 17 May 2019 : 灣仔到香港仔

灣仔到香港仔

在合和中心步行上灣仔峽道、經灣仔自然徑到灣仔峽公園；再往下行經香港仔上/下水塘到香港仔。

大部份為石屎山徑/梯級，但有上落坡段，初段急上250m，長~6.5km，~3.5 hrs

Meeting time:  9:00 am

Meeting place:  合和中心(皇后大道東正門)

Weather Forecast:  sunny periods and a few showers, isolated thunderstorms in the morning,  T28-32  H75-95

Bring rain gear, sun protection, and walking stick, plenty of water and some snacks.

Should the thunderstorm warning or any of the rainstorm warning be announced at 8 am, the hike is automatically cancelled.

Friday 10 May 2019 :大浪灣 到 小西灣

大浪灣 到 小西灣

在筲箕灣站坐9號巴士到大浪灣道起步。由石澳山仔登大頭洲，可看到海浪、情人橋、鄉村俱樂部、高爾夫球場等；再往大浪灣、有古石刻；然後登砵甸乍山後，往下行到小西灣。

大部份為石屎山徑/梯級，但有上落坡段。長~7km、高差~300m，~3.5-4 hrs

Meeting time:  9:00 am

Meeting place:  Shau Kei Wan MTR, Bus No. 9 queue (to Shek O bus)

Weather Forecast:  sunny intervals and isolated showers,  T23-27  H70-90

Bring rain gear, sun protection, and walking stick, plenty of water and some snacks.

Friday 3 May 2019 : Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve (松仔園)

The hike leaders, the organizers and any other participants in the hikes are exonerated from any liabilities and claims as a result of any accidents or losses arising.

Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve (松仔園)

From the meeting place, will walk through the nearby housing estate, cross 山塘路, then walk up some steps / paths to reach the Nature Reserve.  Will cover some parts of the 4 routes (Red, Blue, Brown, Yellow) of the Nature Trails.  Then finish the hike at Tai Po Market for lunch.

Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve is a pleasant and shady hiking route, with flexible length for the 4 routes.
