In view of the heat, let's take a leisurely walk this Friday: 黃石碼頭 -- 土瓜坪 -- 北潭坳 -- 北潭郊遊徑 -- 鰂魚湖.  It's a shady 3-hour route with a gentle gradient.  Please bring sun/rain gear, mosquito repellent and plenty of water.

Meeting Time: 8:50 am (Bus departs at 9:00 am)
Meeting Place: Sai Kung KMB #94 Bus Terminal (destination Wong Shek Pier)

Should the thunderstorm signal, or the amber/red/black rain signal be on at 7:30 am on Friday, or there be less than 4 persons joining, this hike will automatically be cancelled.

The weather forecast for this Friday is still rain.  We're left with not many options.  A cemented route in town is picked again: Quarry Bay MTR Station --> Mt. Parker Road --> Tai Fung Au --> Tai Tam Reservoir Road --> Hong Kong Parkview (9 km, 3 hours).

Meeting Time: 9:00 am

Meeting Place: STREET LEVEL at Exit A, Quarry Bay MTR Station (MUST find Exit A on platform level)

Please check the weather on Friday morning.  If the thunderstorm, or the amber/red/black rain signal is on at 7:30 am, this hike will be cancelled automatically.

The weather forecast for this Friday is still for rain.  Let's keep the route we planned for last week and hope we'll have better luck this time.

The route: Hong Kong Park - Bowen Road - Wanchai Gap - Black's Link - Wongneichung Reservoir - Tai Tam Reservoir.  It takes around 3 to 3.5 hours to complete the walk.

Meeting Place: Escalators leading to Hong Kong Park on 3/F, Pacific Place, Admiralty

Weather forecast for Friday is disheartening: cloudy with showers and showers will be heavy at times with squally thunderstorms!  We need a paved route that can allow emergency exit in case of inclement weather.  We don't have many choices.

The route: Hong Kong Park - Bowen Road - Wanchai Gap - Black's Link - Wongneichung Reservoir - Tai Tam Reservoir.  It takes around 3 to 3.5 hours to complete the walk.
