2017-09-30 - Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve [鶴咀海岸保護區]

Places of interest:
鶴咀道到分岔路可往墱塔懸崖，或蟹洞和雷音洞。                    
Institute of Marine Science, University of HK.                      
燈塔在宿舍那邊。                      
懸崖在另一邊。                      
從宿舍出來向上走，到盡頭見上了鎖的門，在旁邊的路走到懸崖吹海風。
回頭路到鶴咀保護區。
左邊小路到雷音洞。
走前一點看殺人鯨白骨。

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES NOR GARBAGE BINS WITHIN THE RESERVE.

You are advised to be early at the bus terminal and if necessary visit public toilets (five minutes away from the bus terminal)  before you board the bus.

For lunch, we can either take the bus to Shek O or Shaukeiwan.

As usual, please bring water, sun gear, rain gear and wind breaker as needed.

2017-09-22 - Tseng Lan Shue to Lei Yue Mun (Wilson Trail Section 3)

Gathering Time/Place: 9 am / Diamond Hill MTR Station Exit C 

(Take bus routes 91, 91M or 92 from Diamond Hill Terminus at Plaza Hollywood to Tseng Lan Shue)

Route / Distance:   井欄樹 -> 鯉魚門,  about 6.5 km in 4 hours, partly shady and partly exposed, some slopes and steps
(W031 to W019)

不會上魔鬼山。可以去鯉魚門海鮮午餐。

Weather forecast: Sunny intervals and a few showers. 27 - 31°C

Reminder: please bring plenty of water, hats and umbrellas, hiking sticks, gloves, mosquito repellent, some snacks etc. 

Please check the weather before you leave home tomorrow.  If any of the rainstorm warning or thunderstorm warning or typhoon storm warning No.3 or above is up by 8 am, the hike is automatically cancelled.  If less than four people have registered, the hike is also cancelled.

2017-09-15 Hok Tau Reservoir to Tai Wo via Cloudy Hill

Gathering Time/Place: 9am, Green Minibus #52B terminus outside Fan Ling MTR station

Route/distance:  Hok Tau Reservoir (Wilson Trail Section 9 at W112) - Cloudy Hill (Wilson Trail Section 8 at W105) - Hong Lok Yuen (W100) - Parc Versailles (W098) - Tai Wo  (about 8km)

九龍坑山 衛奕信徑 第八、第九段 (部份):

粉嶺車站 - 小巴 - 鶴藪道  鶴藪水塘 (W112) - 九龍坑山 (W105) -  帝欣苑 (W098) - 太和車站

Meeting Place/Time: Sai Wan Ho MTR Exit A, BEFORE 9am.  Bus No. 14 leaves at 9am

Route: from H068 to H060

西灣河(嘉亨灣)坐14号新巴，近水塘下車。(巴士去赤柱) Lunch at 康怡

(Possible diversion to 潭崗飛瀑 near Tai Tam Reservoir: H066 小橋旁邊位置叢林裡有隱約小徑通往下游，亦即是潭崗飛瀑之位置；路段需要少許攀爬，要手腳並用，大家要小心慢走。)
